If not CRM slipholder, please complete the following information:

1. The undersigned guarantees the he/she is the Owner or authorized agent of the Owner of the boat/engine/trailer described above. The owner authorizes Casa Rio Marina (CRM) to provide all materials and labor to perform the repairs/maintenance listed.

2. Owner agrees to keep the boat and its contents covered by an insurance policy in an amount equal to at least the actual value of the boat and its contents. Licensee agrees to provide licensor with a Certificate of Insurance prior to hauling the vessel naming Casa Rio Marina as an additional insured.

3. The owner authorizes CRM’s employees, agents, and subcontractors to board, operate, move, haul, block, and sea trial the boat/engine/trailer as deemed necessary. CRM

4. Prior to the owner’s removal of the vessel from the premises, all monies due and payable under this agreement shall be paid and all monies due and payable under any other agreement for labor and/or materials by the owner shall be paid. Failure to pay will be considered as “a boat not ready for removal”, and subject to additional fees.

5. CRM makes no warranties or representations concerning the licensed premises or any means of ingress thereto or egress therefrom. The owner assumes all risk of and shall hold the CRM harmless of all liability for personal injury, loss of life or property damage resulting from or in any way connected with the condition and use of CRM’ s premises or any means of ingress thereto or egress therefrom suffered or sustained by the licensee or his spouse or children or invitees. The boat owner further assumes all risk of and shall hold CRM harmless from all liability from any personal injuries , loss of life or property resulting from any other’s use of the CRM property. This agreement is not to be considered bailment of the boat and boat owner assumes complete responsibility for the vessel while on leased premises.

6. CRM has the right to refuse any vessel which in his sole judgement is deemed to present unreasonable hazards.

7. Roller furling sails must be removed prior to haul out. If not, Casa Rio Marina will remove them at the owner’s expense.

8. The licensee agrees to obey all rules and regulations of Casa Rio Marina.

Yard Rules and Regulations

General Policies:

Casa Rio Marina assumes no liability for any loss, damage, or injury to the Boat owner, Boat owner’s family, guests, or invitees. The Boat owner will indemnify and hold harmless Casa Rio Marina from any cost, expenses, damages, and against all claims, demands, and damage liability that may be determined by anyone due to:
  • Property loss or damage of any type due to fire, theft, collision, or property loss from any other cause to Boat owner’s vessel, motors, sails furniture, equipment, tackle, automobile, or any other property contained in the vessel or on the premises.
  • Any personal injury, death, or illness arising from occupancy or use of Marina premises or facilities, where such injury or damage is cause by acts or omissions of the Boat owner.
  • Any alleged damage or loss to marine property, non-marine property, or personal injury caused by acts or omissions of the Boat owner, his agents, servants, invitees, or employees
The Boat owner agrees that h e has in effect a marine insurance policy that fully insures the value of the vessel and property. A Certificate of Insurance on file with Casa Rio Marina is required.
The Storage Customer agrees to pay all costs, fees, and expenses, including attorney’s fees, which the Marina may incur in order to enforce any provisions of this agreement. In the event the Storage Customer fails to pay when due any storage and related fees due under the terms of this agreement, the Customer agrees that the Marina has the right to assert and enforce a lien against the vessel.

Hauling Policies:

Prior to haulout, a certificate of Insurance must be on file with the office.
Adverse weather conditions, and unforeseen circumstances may change the assigned haul date.
Standard pressure washing procedure includes normal, light scraping of bottom and running gear. Additional charges will be assessed for additional scraping.
Placement location of the boat is at the discretion of the yard manager.
Boat owner is responsible to inform Marina of any special hauling instructions. Marina is not responsible for damage to boat.

Land Storage Policies:

Land storage customers, their guests, and invitees are required to conduct themselves at all times when on the Marina property so as to create no annoyance, hazard, or nuisance to the Marina or other customers. Loud music is prohibited. All use of machinery (sanders, grinders, compressors, etc.) is prohibited between the hours of 8:00 am and dusk.
All work shall be in compliance with all State and Federal rules and regulations including use of suitable ground cover. Ground covers are available from the box outside the office door.
Land storage is charged by boat LOA (length overall) to be measured upon haulout and includes bowsprits, outboards, swim platforms, anchors, and any other item overhanging the length of the vessel.
Boat stands may not be re positioned or loosened by anyone other than Casa Rio Staff. One complimentary stand move is included in the haul fee. Additional moves will incur a cost. Nothing is permitted to be attached to the stands or keel blocks. Paired stands must remain chained together.
All Boat Owners and Contractors are responsible for the cleanliness of the work area around the boat. A fee will be assessed if Casa Rio staff cleans up the area. Storing of equipment other than ladders and ground cloths under the boat is prohibited. Sandblasting, boat bottom sanding, spray painting, or welding by owners is prohibited.
Contractors must register with the office and are required to have Certificates of Insurance on file with the marina office carrying a minimum of $2,000,00 0.00 General Liability and Marina Owners Legal Liability.
Recycling options are available for used oil, oily water, antifreeze, batteries. Customer’s paint cans must be registered with the office. Proper disposal of wet paint cans is required. Marked containers are on the property for the disposal of wet paint products.
Please drive slowly on marina property to avoid creating dust.
Prohibited activities: Fishing or crabbing from the piers or bulkheads, fish cleaning, disposal of shrinkwrap in dumpster, climbing masts, use of heaters while boat is on land or in water, leaving headsails on boats, unattended plugging in of boat while on land, boat bottom painting while boat is in the slings, diving to clean bottoms.
All dogs must be leashed. Please pick up after your pet.
Casa Rio Marina does not loan tools.

Absolutely No Bottom Sanding or Scraping by Owners or Crew.

Launching Policies:

Account balances must be paid in full before boat is launched. Finance charges will apply after 30 days.
Access is required to the interior of the boat at launching. Keys or combination must be provided.
The boat must be moved from the marina within 48 hours of launching. After 48 hours, current transient rates will apply.
Underwater bottom cleaning by a diver is strictly prohibited within the Marina area.
Parking in the fall, winter, and spring can be difficult. Please use caution when parking and check with the marina office for a parking assignment. Please drive slowly and carefully while on marina property to minimize dust.
